1. The plane

You won’t always have a choice if you travel long distances but if so, here are your options.

Advantages

Sometimes booking a flight is the best way to get to your destination as quickly as possible.

Disadvantages

To benefit from good prices, you must

  • either do it well in advance, 2 months before departure, which limits last-minute plans,
  • or monitor the promotional prices of the various sites, which leaves no choice between the date of departure or the destination. It is also necessary to travel light and include in the price the fares for leaving the airport. 1 hour by plane 12 hours to 24 hours by road, the choice can be quickly made for some

2. The train

The train can have certain advantages over the airplane, even if it seems slower.

For some journeys, the train can bring you directly from point A to point B. Simply because most stations are located in the city center, which is never the case with airports. Thus, to go by plane from your point of departure and to reach your destination, you will have to take a taxi or a bus or a metro. Not to mention that boarding procedures always require your presence at airports well in advance, while you can always board a train at the last minute.
Even if this is not the goal of course, it can sometimes prevent you from having to repay a trip because of delay, especially if it is beyond your control.

3. The boat

The boat does not appear to be the most obvious option especially for long distances but if traveling in Asia it will in many cases be the only option available. In Europe The Greek Islands Even if it is possible to get there by plane for some, the boat is sometimes more practical and especially less expensive. Athens The Ridge The plane option will require you to pay 10 euros for the metro to go to Athens airport and land at Heraklion on the crest when my boat takes you to Chania, the main seaside resort of the island. Batham To Singapore Thai islands

4. The bus

Sometimes the bus is cheaper For longer trips, you will sometimes have the choice of taking a bus or a plane for the same route.
It could be a huge difference to the price, but not always. And while it’s a great way to see a country, it will take some time to recover after a long bus ride.
It is always the case and for everyone. The bus is not necessarily economical You have to take into account that 10pm on a sleeping bus can be funny or turn into a nightmare.
The recovery time can be much longer than you imagine and cost you three days and even a week of rest especially if you have traveled overnight.

5. Taxi

Depending on your point of departure, you will need to take a taxi, bus or metro to catch a train or your plane to the airport. And it is not always an easy thing abroad because you do not know the surroundings and there are a lot of scams especially when you discover a new currency. You will know the prices in your region but not everywhere in the world.
Taxis are very convenient when traveling as you will be overloaded most of the time with tour luggage and fatigue after a long flight.
And taxi drivers actually know this by heart and they will try to take advantage of your desperate need to get to your hotel quickly. But you should know that you can pay 10 times the real price if you are not prepared.

6. Buses and subways

Everything is done to help you reach your destination, in Europe it will be easy, but in Asia, each country has its own particularity.
Tricycles in the Philippines, tuk tuk in Cambodia, trucks in Thailand.
And metro maps can be difficult to understand when the weather is hot, when you’re tired, and no one around you speaks your language.
So be prepared! If you want to choose the best way to travel from your point of departure and plan everything for a peaceful visit, please send me a message through this form.

1. Follow the right recommendations

You have to remember that you can travel for cheap if you make the good choices and if you adopt a minimalist way of traveling.

Obviously, if you follow the recommendations of the major travel agencies, you will pay such a high price that you will abandon your project.

That is why it is interesting to learn how to travel inexpensively and even for free, especially for young people.

2. Your starting point

First of all, it depends on your starting point.

If you live in a large city, you will benefit from cheap flight promotions and direct access to major airports. Which is very practical especially if you want to get very far from home.

If you live in a very small town everything would be harder to move around and it could be a very difficult and expensive business to plan a trip.

3. Your destination

It also depends on your destination.
Some tourist spots are not very affordable for everyone, especially for budget travelers.

And some inexpensive places can also be very difficult to reach because you will have to go through big cities and pay for long flights.

That is why it is worth taking the advice of professional travelers, because they know the best tips and tricks for going anywhere in the world and they will recommend you the best ways to reach your favorite destination.
They would also give you new opportunities to see your paradise island in different places around the world.

4. How to stick to your budget ?

Plan everything in advance by getting informations from travellers.

Contact me for more information on travelling on a budget.
I would give you the best options to travel depending on your departure point and your budget.
